EOIC hails European countries stance against Trump’s decision

CAIRO – 8 December 2017: The European Organization for Islamic Centers (EOIC) stated that the judaization of Jerusalem will change it from a city open for all into an Israeli city that will be encircled.

The Secretary General of the organization Mahajri Ziyan hailed the governments of Switzerland, Germany and France for their stances against Trump’s Jerusalem decision as well as their support to Palestinian rights.

Ziyan called on its affiliated Islamic centers in all European countries to stand against the judaization Jerusalem.

United States President Donald Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on Wednesday during a televised speech from the White House, Washington D.C.

"It is the headquarters of many government ministries. For many years, visiting American diplomats met their Israeli counterparts in Jerusalem… It is now the heart of one of the most successful democracies in the world," Trump stated during his speech on Wednesday.
