Iraqi FM arrives in Rome for MED 2017 forum

BAGHDAD - 30 November 2017: Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al Jaafari arrived here on Thursday on an official visit to Italy to take part in Rome MED 2017 forum, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry.

The forum is held under the sponsorship of the Italian Institute for International Political Studies.

The forum will discuss regional challenges, coordination to fight terrorism and efforts to restore security and stability.

On the fringe of the forum, Jaafari will meet with a number of participating ministers and officials for talks on boosting cooperation.
