CAIRO - 25 September 2017: Egyptian and Royal Saudi Air Forces have ended the joint military drill "Faisal 11" that was hosted by Egypt and lasted for several days.

Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Younis el Masry and his Saudi counterpart Mohammad Saleh al Otaibi inspected a number of participating forces and listened to a detailed explanation of phases of preparation and planning training activities.

They commended the exceptional performance, efficiency and readiness of all elements that took part in the drill.

Commander el Masry voiced Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi's greetings for the Saudi forces participating in the drill, saying that the military forces are keen on bolstering cooperation in joint exercises with brotherly and friendly countries and on developing combat abilities of the air forces to be able to protect the Egyptian national security.

He underlined the importance of cooperation to counter terrorism and maintain regional development and stability.

Commander al Otaibi voiced appreciation for joint cooperation and coordination with Egypt's Air Force that had provided all needed potentials to ensure the success of the exercise and achieving planned goals.

He lauded Egypt's efforts aiming to uproot terrorism and its role in maintaining stability and security for the people of the region.
