CAIRO - 10 September 2017: The parliament's human rights committee will hold two meetings on Monday and Tuesday to probe a report issued by Human Rights Watch.

In statements on Saturday, the head of the panel Alaa Abed said that Monday's meeting will be attended by the heads of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) and the State Information Service (SIS) as well as a deputy foreign minister.

The get-together will outline a plan to confront such fake reports, he said.

Abed reiterated that the committee will tackle on Tuesday a work plan to organize internal and external visits to refute the organization's report.
