Sixty two ships transit Suez Canal

ISMAILIA, Egypt - 24 August 2017: Sixty-two ships transited the Suez Canal on Thursday, with a total cargo of 3.6 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 28 vessels carrying around 1.7 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 34 ships laden with about 1.8 million tons, according to statistics of the Suez Canal Authority.
