CAIRO – 15 August 2017: Sixty-two Qatari police officers were detained after they turned down the orders to work under the Iranian forces stationed in the North Base, according to a post issued on the Qatar-led ‘Mubasher Qatar’ Twitter account Tuesday.

This came following complaints raised by Qatari officers over their mistreatment during the maneuvers undertook with Turkish forces’ cooperation in Qatar.

Two months into the Arab boycott, Qatar held joint military actions earlier this month with Turkish troops, aiming at defending Qatar’s “vital facilities.”
