CAIRO - 12 August 2017: Spokesman for the Transport Ministry Mohamed Ezz said that winches are lifting the carriages of two trains that collided in Alexandria earlier on Friday.

In a statement, he added that efforts are underway to resume train movement.

The movement operates on the Cairo-Alexandria railways to Kafr El-Dawar station, then buses, provided by the Transport Ministry, move passengers to Alexandria.
