ISLAMABAD - 11 August 2017: At least three people were killed and 24 others injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast which hit the town of Nawagai in Bajaur Agency of FATA on Friday, political administration said.

The blast occurred in a truck at roadside in Chahrmang area of Nawagai, Geo News quoted local officials as saying.

The injured were taken to Agency Headquarter Hospital. Seven of the injured are said to be in critical condition.

Security forces cordoned off the site of the incident and started a search operation in the area.
