CAIRO - 10 August 2017: Doha jails and prisons are full of dissidents of Qatar’s sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, while they chant the term “human rights” to justify all their blatant interventions in Arab countries.

As the Doha channel al-jazzera was busy hosting terrorists and the leaders of Muslim Brotherhood, the oppressed Qatari dissidents resorted to Facebook and Twitter platforms to show their sufferings to the world.

Abdullah Bou Matr, Qatari prisoner of opinion, is exposed to the worst forms of torture in Doha prisons, said Qatari Opposition Coalition on their Twitter account ““Mubasher Qatar.”

The security authorities in Doha arrested Abdullah Bou Matr, 55 years, for nothing but his objection to policies in Qatar.
Bou Matr was put in jail on accuse of high treason as he sent email to Qatar’s Emir in which he reveals the shamful practices of Qatar’s officers, according to Qatari opposition leader Khaled Al-Hail via Twitter in May 2015.

Sheikh Fahd Abdallah Al-Thani, 35 years, is another Qatari opponent who is currently under house arrest because of a tweet published against the Qatari regime and its policies.

The tweet published on Qatari Opposition Coalition's Twitter account, “Mubasher Qatar”, revealed that Fahd Abdallah Al-Thani was not put in jail but he is under house arrest.

The Qatari Opposition Coalition posted a list of Qatari dissents in Doha prisons and called Amnesty International to interfere immediately to save them.

Those Qatari opponents had been charged with participating in the February 1996 attempt to overthrow Emir Hamad bin Khalifa bin Hamad , who himself toppled his father in a bloodless coup in June 1995. All the defendants pleaded not guilty.

According to the list, thirteen defendants were sentenced to death and the others have been jailed for life.

Mohamed Bin Zaib, a Qatari poet, has been jailed to life ironically on charges of assaulting the symbols of the state and incitement to overthrow the regime through a poem.

Qatar that defends people’s right to express opinion in Arab countries detained a poet for life for writing a satirical poem.

Qatar’s relations with several Arab and Gulf states have been strained since May 24, when the Qatari state-run news agency reported Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s statements regarding Gulf foreign policy with Iran, describing it as “unwise.”

On June 5, 2017, several countries, including Egypt, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, severed diplomatic ties with Doha over accusations of Qatar backing and funding terrorist groups.

On June 23, 2017, the four Arab states boycotting Qatar sent Doha a list of 13 demands, including downgrading diplomatic ties with Iran and cutting off any joint military cooperation with it.
