Sisi pays great attention to Sinai development, reconstruction

ARISH, Egypt – 31 July 2017: North Sinai Governor Abdel Fatah Harhour said Monday President Abdel Fatah Al Sisi is giving great attention to Sinai development and reconstruction.

This came during the 15th session of Arish University council, led by university president Habash el Nadi.

The governor added that Sisi approved the establishment of a water desalination plant that would produce 300,000 cubic meters of water daily.

The governorate allocated a piece of land west of Arish city for the new water plant that will serve 1.5 million people in the governorate, the governor further said.

Two other water desalination plants will be inaugurated in Arish within the upcoming few days, he added.

Meanwhile, he described Arish University as a cornerstone for achieving development in the governorate in all sectors.
