President El-Sisi reviews state crisis, disaster response capabilities

CAIRO - 7 July 2026: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Tuesday reviewed the state's capabilities for responding to crises and disasters as part of the inauguration events for the State Strategic Command Headquarters in the New Capital.

The event was attended by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, along with a number of ministers and senior state officials.

Upon President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's arrival at the State Strategic Command Headquarters, the military band played the national anthem.
