Sisi conducts surprise inspection tour of Strategic Command

CAIRO - 7 June 2026: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi conducted a Sunday surprise inspection tour of the Strategic Command headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to evaluate operational readiness and engage directly with military cadets.

The unexpected visit aimed to closely monitor operational workflows and assess the state's readiness across various military specializations.

In a statement, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy noted that the state-of-the-art facility represents a major quantitative and qualitative leap in the development of the Armed Forces' overall military capabilities.

During the extensive tour of the country's new defense hub, El-Sisi visited the Egyptian Military Academy campus to inspect   educational infrastructure and practical training programs designed for the cadets.

The president engaged in an interactive dialogue with the students regarding their daily training regimens and evolutionary skill sets.

Sisi underscored the vital importance of maintaining absolute discipline, urging the cadets to exert maximum effort and embrace continuous self-development to enhance their professional capabilities.
