ABU DHABI, July 31 (MENA) - The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the terrorist attack took place late Sunday in Qatif governorate in Saudi Arabia.

The bomb attack targeted a security patrol in Qatif governorate and left one security officer dead and six others wounded.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stressed the UAE's strong support for Saudi Arabia in confronting such serious crimes.

Such acts of terrorism would not undermine the determination of the people of Saudi Arabia to continue to confront terrorism, it added.

The ministry expressed its condolences to the family of the martyr, the government and the people of Saudi Arabia.

It also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
