CAIRO - 1 June 2026: Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty received a Monday phone call from his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar and Deputy Prime Minister to discuss regional stability and ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.

The two ministers emphasized the critical importance of continuing the U.S.-Iran diplomatic path to reach a consensus that supports de-escalation.

They stressed that political and diplomatic solutions are essential to resolve the current crisis and prevent the conflict from expanding across the region.

Abdelatty and Dar agreed to maintain close coordination and consultation in the coming period, aiming to help forge a U.S.-Iran agreement that addresses the concerns of all involved parties, ends current hostilities, and secures regional stability.
