Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms deep Egyptian-African partnership on Africa Day

CAIRO - 26 May 2026: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates affirmed on Monday, May 25, 2026, the depth of the Egyptian-African partnership, on the occasion of marking Africa Day.

 

The Egyptian-African partnership is based on a comprehensive approach through key pillars that include capacity building, supporting development, promoting peace and security across the continent, as well as combating terrorism and extremism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

 

Such an approach falls within the framework of Egypt’s vision founded on the unity of destiny and firm commitment to supporting peace, stability, and achieving sustainable development in Africa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of Africa Day, posted a video on its official Facebook page titled “Egypt and Africa... A Story of Shared Destiny”.
