ERC receives 42th group of wounded Palestinians at Rafah crossing

CAIRO -19 May 2026: The Egyptian Red Crescent continued its humanitarian efforts at the Rafah border crossing, receiving the 42nd group of Palestinian patients and injured individuals, along with their companions, while providing comprehensive support and assistance and facilitating the departure of those returning from Egypt to Gaza.

The services provided included facilitating border crossing procedures, distributing hot meals, clothing, and personal care supplies to ensure that the basic needs of the injured and their companions were met during their stay.

The Egyptian Red Crescent has maintained its presence at the Rafah crossing since the beginning of the crisis, operating around the clock to deliver humanitarian assistance and support.
