Egypt condemns terrorist attack on Pakistani police

CAIRO - 11 May 2026: Egypt condemned the terrorist attack targeting Pakistani police personnel in the city of Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which left several dead and injured.

In a Sunday statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Egypt's full rejection of all forms of violence, terrorism, and extremism.

The statement reaffirmed Cairo’s firm stance calling for concerted international efforts to combat terrorism.

The ministry further expressed its full solidarity with Pakistan, supporting all measures aimed at maintaining the country's security and stability.
