First Lady salutes sacrifices Egyptians made to liberate Sinai

CAIRO – 25 April 2026: On the anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day, First Lady Entissar El sisi saluted the sacrifices the Egyptian people made and take pride in regaining precious land of Sinai.

“On the anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day, we salute the sacrifices our heroes made and take pride in regaining our precious land. May Allah have mercy on the martyrs, and may you all be well every year,” the First Lady posted on her Facebook page.

On his social platforms, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi extended his heartfelt congratulations to Egyptians on the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the great people of Egypt on the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai. On this day, we draw inspiration from its immortal profound meanings of pride, determination, and sacrifice.

Sinai will forever stand as a symbol of resilience, a gateway to security, and a beacon of development and progress.

May Allah protect Egypt and bless it with lasting security and stability.

Long live Egypt! Long live Egypt! Long live Egypt!,” President Sisi posted.

Earlier today, President Sisi gave a speech on the Occasion of the 44th Anniversary of the Liberation of Sinai. “Today, we celebrate the 44th anniversary of the liberation of our precious Sinai, this pivotal moment in the nation’s history, which was not merely about the recovery of occupied land, but an eternal affirmation and declaration that Egypt does not relinquish a grain of its soil, nor does it accept compromise over its rights or its territory,” President Sisi said.

He added that Sinai is not just a geographical expanse of our homeland; it is its fortified gateway, watered by the blood of martyrs and adorned by the resilience of heroes.
