President of Tatarstan arrives in Cairo for high-level working visit

CAIRO - 13 April 2026: Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, arrived in Egypt on Monday for an official working visit. The visit aims to hold high-level consultations with several Egyptian officials to strengthen bilateral ties and economic cooperation.

Official Reception According to an official statement by the Russian Embassy in Cairo, the President was received at Cairo International Airport by the Egyptian Minister of Industry, Engineer Khaled Hashem.

Focus of the Visit The visit is expected to explore joint ventures in industrial sectors, trade exchange, and technical cooperation, reflecting the growing strategic partnership between Egypt and the Russian Federation, of which Tatarstan is a key industrial republic.
