Police destroy 13 feddans of narcotic plants in S. Sinai

CAIRO – 27 July 2017: The Interior Ministry's anti-narcotics agency has destroyed 13 feddans of bango and cannabis and seized 15 tons of the two illegal plants in South Sinai.

The agency launched a wide scale campaign in the governorate in coordination with security forces in South Sinai and the Armed Forces over the past two days.

The campaign targeted the destruction of the narcotic plants in South Sinai and the arrest of those involved in the cultivation.
