The minister’s remarks came on Saturday during a meeting with a delegation from the British University of East Anglia in the presence of a host of respective officials, including the director of the British Council at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

Egypt and the United Kingdom have special ties, the minister said, underlining the need to boost educational cooperation between the universities of both countries to serve their academic and research purposes.

The meeting also focused on strengthening cooperation between Egyptian universities and the University of East Anglia in different domains, particularly the in fields of medical science, computing and artificial intelligence.
