He described the Egyptian market as the largest in the region and a gateway to both Arab and African markets, especially with the relevant free trade agreements designed to promote exports and facilitate trade movement.

Sisi urged the Spanish companies to benefit from the multiple investment opportunities available in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, especially in the fields of renewable and green energy, mainly green hydrogen production.

He added that Egypt looks forward to the establishment of a strategic partnership with the Spanish side to meet the European Union's green hydrogen needs.

Additionally, he invited Spanish companies to explore investment opportunities in the fields of automotive manufacturing, pharmaceutical industries, logistics, among others.

The president called on the Spanish investors to support Egypt’s efforts to localize industries and increase the local component in various industrial fields as a matter of “top priority” for Egypt.
