CAIRO – 6 February 2025: The foreign ministers of Egypt and Bahrain discussed Thursday in a phone call the outcomes of the former's visit to Manama on Tuesday, and exchanged views on developments in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
Minister Badr Abdelatty said that Egypt would continue intensive efforts for the implementation of the three phases of the ceasefire agreement, accelerated delivery of humanitarian aid, and paving the way for executing early recovery programmes and reconstruction without displacement.
The two sides also addressed the updates in Syria, so as the Egyptian minister affirmed support to the country's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, as well as to launching an inclusive political process in order to guarantee that it would not turn into a source of instability.
