Education is fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development, building societies, Sisi

CAIRO – 24 January 2025: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi reiterated on Friday, the importance of education as a basic human right and a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development and building advanced societies.

On the occasion of the International Day of Education, Sisi said that ‘Education is the path to a better future.

“We are working hard to develop the educational process at all its stages, keep pace with continuous development, and for the National Council for Education, Research and Innovation to play its role, to be the comprehensive umbrella for developing the education system in Egypt, and to develop comprehensive educational strategies based on an integrated vision after studying the proposals of state institutions concerned with education, in order to ensure their positive connection to the local, regional and global labor market,” Sisi wrote on social media.

He added that: “It is important for educational strategies to be long-term and stable, based on a clear and sustainable vision, so that they are not affected by changes in officials or administrations, in order to ensure continuity in achieving the desired progress in the education sector, and I ask God Almighty to guide national efforts to achieve a comprehensive educational renaissance that meets the aspirations of our children and contributes to building a brighter future for Egypt.”
