A source at the airport said on Wednesday the plane carried 53 tons of various kinds of humanitarian and relief assistance offered by the German humanitarian aid association and the Norwegian Refugee Council.

The assistance were loaded on trucks to be sent logistic warehouses in Arish in preparation for sending them into the Gaza Strip via Rafah crossing.
