The Border Guards managed to seize a substantial cache of items before they could be smuggled, including 440 shotguns, a Kalashnikov rifle, 77 rounds of ammunition, a satellite communication phone, and a Land Cruiser vehicle.

The spokesperson emphasized the ongoing and intensive efforts to secure Egypt's strategic borders and combat smugglers and criminals who aim to undermine the nation's resources.
