The visit also crowns fruitful cooperation between the two countries in all areas, particularly political, economic, and commercial ones, and strengthens joint security and military coordination and counter-terrorism efforts, for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples, the ambassador added in a statement.

The visit also aimed to exchange views to strengthen unified Arab visions toward addressing regional challenges for the regional and global benefit, Zainal said.

She praised the valuable and fruitful outcomes of King Hamad's visit and his discussions with President Sisi, as well as their support for efforts to achieve security and stability in the Arab region.

Relations between the two countries throughout their extended history have been characterized by harmony, solidarity, and official and popular proximity, Zainal said.

Egypt and Bahrain share the same views and firm convictions of the need to end the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and contain the escalation resulting from the conflict, while protecting the region from the risks of its expansion, she added.

The ambassador said that Bahrain and Egypt form a strong Arab depth to confront existing challenges in the region and strengthen the trajectory of joint Arab action.

The historic visit also reflected the important position of Egypt as a crucial strategic reserve for the security of the Arab Gulf, and its constructive initiatives in leading peace efforts in the Middle East, as well as Bahrain's steadfast support for Egypt's security and progress, she added.
