CAIRO - 17 April 2024: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects Wednesday, to witness a noticeable and temporary rise in temperatures with values ranging from 5 to 6 degrees in all areas, with very hot weather prevailing during the day and moderate at night.
 
Today, wind activity, stirring up sand and dust, is expected in various areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the canal cities, leading to a deterioration in horizontal visibility on areas of the northern coasts and the Western Desert, and wind activity, stirring up sand and dust, in some areas of northern Upper Egypt.
 
As for the temperatures on Wednesday:
 
Greater Cairo records highs of 36 degrees and lows of 22
 
Alexandria records highs of 36 and lows of  18
 
Matrouh records highs of 35 degrees and lows of  17
 
Sohag records highs of 36 degrees and lows of  21
 
Qena records highs of 37 degrees and lows of  22
 
Aswan records highs of 37 degrees and lows of  22
