CAIRO – 12 April 2024: 35 injured Palestinians and 72 of their companions crossed Rafah Border Crossing on Friday coming from the Gaza Strip for treatment.

A reliable source at the Border Crossing said that 129 various humanitarian aid trucks were allowed into the Gaza Strip, including 50 trucks from the Rafah land port and 79 from the Karam Abu Salem crossing in southeastern Gaza Strip.

On April 9, Egyptian official sources affirmed that Rafah Border Crossing will remain opening and operating throughout the days of Eid al-Fitr, to bring humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.

The continuous operations of Rafah Border Crossing come in light of the tireless Egyptian efforts to ease the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip since the beginning of October 7th, as the Egyptian crossings operate around the clock to receive humanitarian cases and patients and treat them inside Egyptian hospitals.
