Egyptian ambassador meets with Indonesian vice-president

CAIRO – 7 April 2024: Egyptian Ambassador to Indonesia Yasser al-Shimi met earlier this week with Vice-President Ma'ruf Amin to discuss economic and academic cooperation, trade and student exchange, and human capacity-building.

The Egyptian ambassador also displayed developments in the Middle East as well as Egypt's endeavors to support the Palestinian people in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression.

On his side, Vice-President Amin expressed keenness on reinforcing and growing cooperation with Egypt, and commended the collaboration and coordination between the two countries on humanitarian aid supply to Gazans.
