Egypt air drops aid to Gaza

CAIRO - 3 April 2024: A convoy of humanitarian aid from Tahya Misr Fund arrived in Gaza on Wednesday to support the Palestinian people. The convoy consists of 94 trucks carrying 1504 tons of humanitarian aid, including:

 

Food: dry food, bottled water, and cleaning supplies

Medical supplies: medicines and medical equipment

Other essentials: blankets, covers, tents, and Eid clothes for families and children

 

The trucks moved from the Egyptian Rafah crossing to the Palestinian Rafah crossing.

 

Coordination was made with the Palestinian Red Crescent to arrange the entry of aid according to priorities and needs to prevent the aggravation of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

 

Tahya Misr Fund has allocated account number (037037- Gaza Relief) in all banks, inside and outside Egypt, in local and foreign currencies. In addition to receiving contributions via the website www.tahyamisrfund.org, to support the people of Gaza and meet the living and medical needs of the Palestinian people, and to promote the spirit of solidarity and cooperation between peoples and maximize the role of civil society in various fields.
