CAIRO - 23 March 2024: The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced that medical examinations for those about to marry will be conducted on a regular basis in the centers designated for this purpose.
 
The ministry advised that it is preferable to conduct the examination 6 months before marriage.
 
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, revealed the issuance of 1,390,000 health certificates authenticated and secured with (QRCode) for those about to get married.
 
The spokesperson explained that the certificates are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance, noting the necessity of conducting examinations within a period of no less than 14 days. One day before the marriage is consummated to receive the results and obtain the health certificate.
