CAIRO – 19 March 2024: Coinciding with the celebration of the 10th of Ramadan victory, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, attended the annual iftar ceremony held by the Armed Forces.
During Iftar, Sisi congratulated the armed forces and the Egyptian people on the anniversary of 10th of Ramadan victory, which “will remain one of the most wonderful epics of heroism and sacrifice”
Sisi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the armed forces and their sacrifices to preserve the security of the nation and the safety of its lands.
President Sisi paid tribute to the nation's martyrs ‘who sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation's soil’, stressing that the country will not forget its martyrs ‘who illuminated the path of development and construction with their blood’
He noted that the Egyptian people appreciate the efforts and sacrifices made by the men of the armed forces to protect Egypt and preserve its sanctities.
President Sisi expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the armed forces in cooperation with all Egyptian state agencies and institutions to achieve comprehensive development, provide a decent life for citizens in all parts of the country, and support the pillars of Egyptian national security in light of the current changes and challenges.
