Egypt’s FM to receive US Special Envoy to Sudan, UNRWA Under-Secretary-General

CAIRO – 17 March 2024: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will receive both U.S. Special Envoy to Sudan Tom Perriello and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), separately, on Monday.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs added in a statement that the meetings will convene in the headquarters of the ministry in the New Administrative Capital.

Also, a joint press conference between Shoukry and the UNRWA Under-Secretary-General will be held afterwards, the statement continued.
