Egypt's UN permanent representative: We call on security countil to solidarity with UNRWA

CAIRO - 5 March 2024: Ambassador Osama Abdel Khaleq, Egypt's permanent representative to the United Nations, said that "some [parties] have tried to tighten the noose on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), stressing the need to respect UNRWA's mandate.

 

Ambassador Osama Abdel Khaleq, Egypt's permanent representative to the United Nations, added during his speech "we call on the Security Council to show solidarity with UNRWA."
