CAIRO - 20 February 2024: The Media Center of the Council of Ministers has clarified, in light of rumors regarding a shortage of veterinary vaccines and serums across the country, that it contacted the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.

The Ministry refuted these claims, confirming that there is no shortage of veterinary vaccines and serums nationwide.

The Ministry emphasized the availability of all locally produced veterinary vaccines and serums, whether manufactured by the ministry's Veterinary Serum and Vaccine Research Institute or by the Egyptian private sector.

These vaccines and serums are of high quality and efficacy, offered at reasonable prices, and are subject to stringent oversight by relevant regulatory and inspection bodies to ensure their safety and validity.

The Ministry also noted that it monitors any shortages in veterinary vaccines and serums across the country and supplies additional quantities as needed
