CAIRO – 18 February 2024: A total of 44 injured Palestinians coming from the Gaza Strip, along with 28 companions, crossed the Rafah border crossing to Egypt on Sunday, Youm7 reported.

An official source at the border stated that 13 foreigners, 150 people holding Egyptian passports, and 250 people holding residency permits entered through the crossing.

Also, 120 trucks of aid and medical materials entered the Emirati Hospital, as well as 5 fuel trucks.

Egypt has taken it upon itself to deliver tens of thousands of tons of humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian civilians, especially as the ongoing Israeli attacks have caused the strip to suffer from one of the world’s worst humanitarian conditions.

Egypt has sent the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip about 200,000 tons of humanitarian aid shipped and delivered either by land, sea, or air, said the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity Neveen Al Qabbaj said on Friday.

She added that Egypt’s aid to the Gaza Strip constitutes 60% of all aid has been delivered to the Palestinians so far.

Over the past 133 days, the Israeli attacks in Gaza have killed 28,775 people and injured 68,552, according to the health ministry in Gaza.
