CAIRO – 5 February 2024: An Egyptian official denied reports claiming that Israel targeted an Egyptian aid truck in northern Gaza, clarifying that the targeted truck belongs to the United Nations, Al Qahera News reported.

On his X (formerly Twitter), Head of the Euro-Med for Human Rights Monitor Ramy Abu said that the Israeli navy has targeted a humanitarian truck to UNRWA while it was heading from the southern strip to the north of Gaza.

Since October 7, Israel has killed more than 27,365 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and injured 66,630 wounded others. Meanwhile, more than 8,000 are still missing under the rubble and on the roads.

The occupation forces continue to launch hundreds of raids, and artillery shelling, and carry out crimes throughout the Gaza Strip, committing bloody massacres against civilians, and carrying out horrific crimes in the areas of their incursion, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation as a result of the siege and the displacement of more than 90% of the population.

Also, the Israeli occupation aircraft destroyed entire residential squares in the Gaza Strip, as part of the comprehensive destruction policy pursued by the occupation forces.
