CAIRO – 26 December 2023: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded Tuesday the United Nations to declare famine in Gaza Strip due to the genocide committed by Israel noting that 800,000 Palestinians have no access to healthcare northern the enclave.
The ministry added that 5,000 need to receive treatment abroad, and that the death and injuries recorded in the past 24 hours are 200 and 300, respectively.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Monday that since October 7, Israel has killed at least 20,674 people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and injured 54,536 Palestinians.
