CAIRO - 2 December 2023: Egypt Today's correspondent in Rafah said that 50 trucks of aid have entered the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing, along with two fuel trucks.

Israeli forces have been launching air, sea, and land attacks on various parts of the Gaza Strip since yesterday, following the end of the temporary humanitarian truce, which was not extended.

The Israeli military has urged residents of Jabalia, Shuja'iyya, Zeitoun, and the Old City in the Gaza Strip to leave their homes. The humanitarian truce in Gaza, which went into effect at 7 AM on Friday, November 24, lasted for four days, followed by a three-day extension after ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, resulting in the death of over 15,000 citizens, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, and over 36,000 injuries in a still-increasing toll.

The seven-day truce allowed for the exchange of detainees in Gaza for Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails and facilitated the entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged area.
