CAIRO - 21 November 2023: The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said that it is investigating all reports of journalists and media workers killed, injured, or missing in the war on Gaza, which has led to the deadliest month for journalists since CPJ began gathering data in 1992.

The CPJ said that at least 50 journalists and media workers were among more than 14,000 killed.

The Committee to Protect Journalists says this deadly trend far outweighs the 30 journalists killed at the height of the Syrian civil war, previously considered the deadliest war zone for journalists in recent times.
