United Media Services Company thanks Armed Forces for facilitating their delegation’s visit to Sinai

CAIRO – 13 November 2023: The United Media Services Company [UMS] thanked on Monday the Egyptian Armed Forces, for facilitating, securing and receiving the visit of the company’s delegation in Al-Arish and Rafah, to check on Gaza’s injuries inside Egypt’s hospitals.

In its statement, The United Company affirmed its great appreciation for the efforts of the Egyptian Armed Forces that was made over the past years to achieve security and stability in North Sinai.

The Company also expressed its appreciation to all the sincere efforts made by Egyptian institutions at all levels, in conjunction with the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, to defend their rights and cause.

UMS thanks Sinai Tribes Union

In another Monday statement, The United Company for Media Services also extended its greetings and appreciation to the Sinai Tribes Union for the good reception of its delegation to North Sinai.

The Company affirmed its appreciation of the national and historical role of the ‘sheikhs of the Sinai tribes’, in supporting the sincere efforts of the Egyptian institutions that aim to achieve security, stability and comprehensive development for all the people of Sinai.

Delegation from Egypt’s United Media Services Company, headed by Ashraf Salman visited Gaza’s injuries in Al-Arish hospitals on Monday.

The delegation of included, “Muhamad Al-Saadi, Tamer Morsi, Albert Shafik, Iman Abu Al-Khair, Dina Abdel Fattah, Wael Abdel Aziz Muhammad Hisham, Lamis Al-Hadidi, Youssef Al-Husseini, Sarah Taha, Jasmine Abdel Jalil, Omaima Abdel Majeed Fouad, Abdel Fattah Mustafa, and Ahmed Al-Darini, Muhamad Sherdi, Lubna Asal, Gaber Al-Qarmouti, Amr Shabana, Ola Al-Shafi’i, Doaa Gad Al-Haqq, Ahmed Al-Sayed Zaid, Tamer Hanafi, Muhammad Abdel-Rahman, Lama Jibril, Nada Reda, Dalia Abdel-Rahim Ali, Shafki Al-Muniri, Mustafa Ammar, and Aya Mohamad Ibrahim.”

During their tour inside the hospitals, the media delegation met with a number of injured Palestinians, including children.

The delegation also visited a tent providing humanitarian services.

The Delegation, headed by Ashraf Salman, Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, and Amr El-Feki, CEO and Managing Director, arrived earlier on Monday at Al-Arish Airport.

The United Media Services Company dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, within the framework of the company’s societal role by participating in community services at all levels.

The United Company aid convoy heading to the Rafah included 6 trucks loaded with 150 tons of food and water to support the ‘Palestinian brothers’, in light of the urgent need for water and food in the Strip.

The aid trucks were decorated with the flags of Egypt and Palestine, as an expression of full support for the Palestinian people.

Also, large banners with the Palestinian flag were hanged on the trucks, along with other banners reading “Hand in hand with our people in Palestine”.

In exclusive footage for Egypt Today from inside the Sheikh Zuwayed hospitals, where Egypt receives Palestinians injuries daily and provide them with all needed medical care, Palestinian patients explained how fatal and harsh the conditions are in Gaza.

“We used to come together every night before going to sleep. We pray to God and close our eyes not knowing who will open them again in the next morning and who will not.” One of the Palestinian patients says.

She adds that ‘all what she wants is to be re-unionid’ again with her family in Gaza.

Other patient said: “We really thank Egypt, President Sisi and the Health Ministry. They are doing everything they can. We thank them for their efforts. All Egyptians are really our brothers, they welcome us among them.”

He added: “People visit us every day, bringing gifts and everything they can.”
