Egypt’s President Sisi offers greetings to UN on its annual day

CAIRO – 26 October 2023: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi delegated on Thursday Presidential Secretary Abdel Aziz El Sheif to the coordination office of the United Nations in Cairo to offer greetings on the United Nations Day.

The UN celebrates its annual day on 24 October, marking the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter.

Signed on 26 June 1945, the UN Charter is the constitutive instrument of the United Nations that sets out the rights and obligations of member states and establishes the principal procedures of the organization.
