CAIRO - 1 September 2023: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa asserted that Egypt welcomes all its guests from various world countries.

This came during the minister's meeting with a group of tourists from various world countries during their tour of the Religions Complex on the fringe of inaugurating a number of historical sites in Old Cairo after renovation works.

The minister was keen on taking a photo-op with the tourists, wishing them an enjoyable stay in Egypt. He invited the tourists to encourage their friends and families to visit Egypt.

Earlier in the day, Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated Ben Azra Synagogue, one of the oldest Jewish temples in Egypt, after its renovation.

Egypt is a country in Northeast Africa, known for its rich history, diverse culture, and significant contributions to art, science, and philosophy. It is often considered one of the oldest civilizations in the world, with a history dating back thousands of years.

Egypt is a major tourist destination, offering a wide range of experiences, from historical and cultural tourism to beach resorts along the Red Sea. The country is famous for its ancient monuments like the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the temples of Luxor. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo houses an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the famous Tutankhamun exhibit.

Hospitality is an integral part of Egyptian culture. Egyptians are generally warm and welcoming to visitors, and it's common for locals to invite travelers into their homes for a meal or tea. Tourism is a significant part of the Egyptian economy, and the government has taken steps to ensure the safety and comfort of tourists.

Egypt's welcoming nature is rooted in its long history of interaction with various cultures, its importance as a center of civilization, and its current status as a global tourist destination.
