100 Healthy Days initiative provides 390,830 services in 24 hours

CAIRO - 6 August 2023: Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Sunday announced that the "100 Healthy Days" presidential initiative had provided 390,881 healthcare services across the country on Saturday.

In a statement on Sunday, Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the campaign included 14,785 services for supporting women's health.

Hearing services have been presented for 9,708 children as part of a presidential initiative for early detection and treatment of hearing loss and impairment for newborns.

Under the initiative, 37,150 services were offered within the framework for the early detection of kidney and chronic diseases.

About 8,632 decisions for treatment at state expense were issued, he said, noting that the campaign also offered 3,402 services for psychological health.
