CAIRO - 19 July 2023: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said Sudan's neighbors summit which Egypt hosted recently highlighted keenness on ending the Sudanese conflict and its repercussions.

The summit was held at a call from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to coordinate regional and regional efforts to settle the Sudanese crisis, the premier said during a cabinet meeting in Almein HQ.

He expressed hope that the summit's recommendations would contribute to ending the Sudanese crisis, referring to the important meetings which President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held on the fringe of the summit with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

During the meeting, the premier greeted President Sisi, government members and Egyptians on the new hijri year and the July Revolution, wishing Egypt more prosperity and stability.

The talks tackled a host of important issues, including the president's important participation in the 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union, Regional Economic Communities and Regional Mechanisms which was held in Nairobi.

Meanwhile, the premier highlighted ongoing efforts to promote the private sector's contribution to various economic sectors.
