The summit tackles the need for a new global financial system, he added, noting that the existing financial order, that depends on IMF, WB and other financing organizations, has flaws that occurred due to several crises that struck the global economy including the developing states

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday participated in a dinner banquet held at the Elysee Palace for world leaders attending the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, held in Paris.

The summit is hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron on June 22 and 23.

Macron held the dinner in honor of the world heads of states, governments and top officials from the international organizations and representatives of world financial institutions after their participation in the first day of the summit activities.

Earlier, Macron receives a number of heads of state topped by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in addition to top officials from international financial organizations.
