ANKARA - 17 July 2017: The Turkish parliament on Monday approved the extension of emergency rule for another three months, almost a year after it was imposed in the wake of last July's failed military coup.

Earlier on Monday, the Turkish government asked parliament to extend the emergency rule, imposed after the failed coup attempt, in a statement from Prime Minister Binali Yildirim's office.
