Cairo International Airport says flights operating normally, no delays due to rain

CAIRO – 25 October 2022: Cairo International Airport affirmed that all flights are operating normal and regularity on Tuesday.

In a statement, the airport officials denied that the Airport has witnessed delays or cancellations of flights, in light of the bad weather in the country.

Cairo Airport had prepared a tight plan to deal with any emergency that might occur due to the rain. Also, several rescue teams have been deployed to deal with any emergency that may occur due to rains.

Cairo and Giza Governorates confirmed, Tuesday that there is no postponement of the study due to the heavy rains witnessed all over the country.

Officials in both Governorates said that, Wednesday will be a normal studying day at schools for all levels.

Egypt’s governorates are seeing heavy thunder rains, on Tuesday, amid unstable weather expected to continue for the few coming days according to the Meteorological Authority

The Authority also indicated that Egypt is witnessing light to medium rain and even expected to turn into thunderstorm, with an incidence of 50 percent.

Some areas of northwest coasts, central Sinai and the canal cities, might also be seeing some rains along with northern Upper Egypt.
