Egypt’s President Sisi meets with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces

CAIRO- 24 June 2022: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with General Muhammad Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, on Friday, said the Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady in a statement.

However, the statement did not mention further details on the meeting.

On April 15, 2022, President Sisi held a meeting with commanders of the Armed Forces during which he praised the efforts of the armed forces in carrying out their tasks efficiently and with dedication.

President Sisi stressed that the Egyptian people appreciate the efforts and sacrifices made by the armed forces in defense of Egypt's security and safety.
